The ITC maintains the only two purpose built infrared thermography training facilities in the world.

Boston, Massachusetts, USA

The Boston training center houses a 40 plus seat classroom with multimedia equipment for core lectures. This facility includes a monitor at each table to allow students to plug in their own cameras and follow along with the instructor's lecture. This room can be broken into two smaller rooms for instruction on specific cameras or when more than one course is being taught that week.

The facilities also house a separate dedicated applications lab. In the lab many industrial and commercial infrared applications are simulated. These include outdoor and indoor electrical distribution systems, direct and indirect thermal pattern and temperature measurements, piping leaks, wind and solar effects, spatial resolution effects, building heat loss and roofing applications, buried steam lines, rotating equipment, and electronic circuit boards.

In addition, a separate 22 computer workstation classroom allows students to practice producing reports from the results of the application labs.

Stockholm, Sweden

Stockholm houses our newest dedicated training center. This facility has seating for 15 students and each table has a computer for the software portions of the course.

Downstairs an extensive laboratory houses a multitude of experiments with as wide a diversity as the Boston facility.
